ICT has developed considerably, and with this development, comes endless opportunities for your child.
For example, instead of using books to find information, we will use internet programs that are projected on an interactive whiteboard. So when we are learning about science, instead of me holding up a book and trying to have each student see the page, the information will be projected on a large screen for all children to see, this will also help with the different learning styles of students as it will be easier to measure their engagment if they have the information on clear display.
ICt brings a whole world of fascinating new ways to teach children and hold their focus for an entire lesson. I have found that giving a task like "tidy the play-room" can be engaging for the student if they can relate it to a computer activity, this is a link to an activity used called "tidy the class room" students complete one task on the computer each and then put it into real life situations adn tidy up their classroom. It makes simple tasks that may often be found boring more engaging for your child.
